Limited Lifetime Warranty

We provide an industry leading lifetime product warranty. We can do this because we are the engineers behind our system and know its quality and robustness. We don't just batch test -- we test all of our electronic products before we ship any product to you.

Preface

We believe the Huckleberry Lighting system to be the highest quality permanent structural lighting system available, and we therefore stand behind our products with one of the best warranties in the industry. We have made an effort to compile this warranty so you will fully understand the warranty we are making to you. The terms contained herein are subject to change without notice. Who is Covered

You are entitled to the benefits of this warranty if you are the original purchaser of our product or the first transferee from the original purchaser and that purchaser was the property owner of the structure our products are installed on.

What is Covered

Huckleberry Lighting warrants that our products are free from any manufacturing defects which materially affect their operation on your structure or home during the lifetime of the product components.

This limited warranty is void if the product is not used for the purpose for which we designed it or for purposes which Huckleberry Lighting, at our sole discretion, deems reasonable.

How Long Are You Covered

Coverage is for the lifetime of the components of Huckleberry Lighting products. Huckleberry Lighting will, at its option and subject to certain limitations, replace or repair products that Huckleberry Lighting determines are defective. The determination of whether or not the product is defective will be made by Huckleberry Lighting in its sole discretion with consideration given to the overall performance of the product. The warranty period does not apply to damage caused by conditions or handling beyond our control.

Transferability of Warranty

This warranty can be transferred one (1) time, anytime during the warranty period. To obtain the benefits of this warranty the new owner of the structure or building the product is installed on must contact Huckleberry Lighting either through our contact us page or by email to support@huckleberry-lighting.com within ninety (90) days after the date of the real estate transfer. Proof of the real estate transfer as well as proof of purchase of the Huckleberry Lighting products must be submitted at the same time or within the same ninety (90) days.

What is Not Covered

Huckleberry Lighting will not cover any soffit, facia, underlayment, metalwork, sheetrock, flashings, or other works, materials, structures, paint, screws, or property not part of products produced by Huckleberry Lighting.

Labor or time is not included or compensated by Huckleberry Lighting. Our products were designed and priced to be as available as possible for the DIY market, we cannot also warrant labor or time. We do not perform the replacement of defective products, but if we live within a reasonable traveling distance we may, at our discretion, help you in replacing a defective light or product. We do care about you as our customer and want you to be happy with your lighting system.

After Huckleberry Lighting products leave us they are subject to conditions and handling beyond our control that could affect their performance. This warranty does not cover any problems with non defective Huckleberry Lighting products caused by conditions or handling beyond our control. Some examples of conditions not covered by this warranty include:1. Acts of God, such as hail, lightning, strong storms (hurricanes and tornadoes) or excessively high speed winds, ice damming, or buildup on Huckleberry Lighting products. 2. Foot traffic on your roof or damage caused by object(s) falling on your roof. 3. Damage or loss of the lighting products as a result of damage to or the failure of the underlying roofing, soffit, or trim structure. 4. Improper or faulty installation of your lighting products — installation must comply with local building codes. 5. Shading, sun fade, or variations in the color of your Huckleberry Lighting products or discoloration caused due to algae, fungi, lichen, cyanobacteria, roof runoff, water deposits, etc. 6. Inadequate roof drainage or backed up gutters. 7. Settlement of the structure of your property or buckling or cracking of the structure over which your Huckleberry Lighting products are installed. 8. Leaks caused by preexisting conditions, structural failures(s), improper installation or damaged area(s) on or near the soffit or trim which are not part of the Huckleberry Lighting system. 9. Damage or loss to the lighting products caused by alterations made after completion of application, including structural changes, equipment installation, power washing, painting or the application of cleaning solutions, coatings, or other modifications. 10. Improper storage, maintenance, service, handling, or other conditions beyond our control. 11. Damage or loss caused by, or the cost to repair or replace, any Huckleberry Lighting product. 12. Improperly designed or installed gutter or downspout systems. 13. Any costs that you incur. 14. Loss or damage to the product caused by negligence, abuse, misuse, and/or mishandling of the product. 15. Damage or loss due to fire, vandalism, or civil disturbances. 16. Damage or loss due to power surges, improper power supply, electrical current fluctuations, corrosive environment installations, induced vibration, or harmonic oscillation or resonance associated with movement of air currents around the product.

Compensation

The manner of compensation is at Huckleberry Lighting's sole discretion and may be issued in the form of repair of the product and/or replacement of the product. Huckleberry Lighting reserves the right to utilize new, reconditioned, refurbished, repaired, or remanufactured products or parts in the repair or replacement process.

No Unauthorized Modifications To This Warranty

This warranty may not be changed or modified. No one, including any representative or employee of Huckleberry Lighting has authority to assume additional responsibility or liability for Huckleberry Lighting or in any way modify or change this warranty.

Claims Process

Claims under this warranty need to be made within sixty (60) days after the problem is discovered by you. To evaluate and process your claim, Huckleberry Lighting may ask you to provide, at your expense, pictures of your Huckleberry Lighting products and/or pieces, parts, or samples for us to see and evaluate. Limitations

This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, conditions, representations and guarantees, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, whether by statute, at law or in equity and is limited in length to the express warranty provided above unless a shorter period is permitted by law. In no event shall Huckleberry Lighting be liable for incidental, compensatory, consequential, indirect, special or other damages. Huckleberry Lighting's aggregate liability with respect to a defective product shall in any event be limited to the monies paid to Huckleberry Lighting for that defective product less any transaction related fees, banking fees, bookkeeping costs, or other costs of Huckleberry Lighting for that transaction and less a reasonable amount per month of use from the original order date through the date of your claim. This written warranty is your exclusive warranty from Huckleberry Lighting and represents the sole remedy to any owner of Huckleberry Lighting products. Huckleberry Lighting makes no other representations, warranties, or guarantees of any kind other than those explicitly stated herein.
